RTTN: NZ Dollar Drops To 4-day Low Against Greenback
(RTTNews) - The NZ dollar dollar extended its previous session's decline against the US dollar in early trading on Tuesday. The kiwi fell to a 4-day low of 0.7564 against the greenback by 5:00 am ET, compared to 0.7639 hit late New York Monday. The kiwi-buck pair is presently worth 0.7570 with 0.7550 seen as the next likely downside target level.
The New Zealand dollar also edged lower against other major currencies in early trading. The kiwi is currently trading at a 4-day low of 1.7096 against the euro and this may be compared to yesterday's close of 1.6965. On the downside, the New Zealand dollar may find target around the 1.74 level.
The kiwi declined to as low as 62.90 against the yen and 1.3006 versus the aussie before leveling off around 5:00 am ET. The New Zealand dollar that finished yesterday's trading at 63.19 against the yen and 1.3042 versus the aussie is currently quoted at 62.98 and 1.2992, respectively.
