NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasury notes were flat in early trading Tuesday, with yields on the 10-year note (UST10Y 3.31, +0.02, +0.52%) up just 1 basis point to 3.31%, and yields on the 2-year note (UST2YR 0.57, 0.00, -0.70%) unchanged, at 0.57%. One basis point is one hundredth of a percentage point. Bond yields move inversely to prices.
