The Reserve Bank of India`s (RBI) today fixed reference rate for USD at Rs 45.53, up 0.13% against its rate on previous working day at Rs 45.59 (January 17).
Meanwhile, the apex bank`s reference rate for Euro was up 0.18% at Rs 60.62 on January 18, as against 60.73 on January 17.
As illustrated in the table below, the apex bank`s reference rate for Great Britain Pound stand at Rs 72.55 down 0.34% versus its rate of Rs 72.31 of previous working day, while it down 0.35% versus 100 Japanese Yen at Rs 55.18 as against Rs 54.99 on previous working day.
Note : The reference rate is based on 12 noon rates of a few select banks in Mumbai.
The SDR-Rupee rate will be based on this rate.
