(RTTNews) - The New Zealand dollar continued its early Asian session's declining trend against the currencies of the U.S., Europe and Japan in late trading on Thursday.
The kiwi fell to a 4-week low of 1.7662 against the euro around 2:00 am ET, down from 1.7529 hit late New York Wednesday. If the NZ dollar weakens further, 1.7740 is seen as the next likely target level.
Against the yen, the New Zealand currency slipped to a 15-day low of 62.65 at this time and this may be compared to 63.09 hit late New York Wednesday. The next downside target level for the kiwi-greenback pair is seen at 62.50.
The NZ dollar depreciated by 2 percent to reach a 1-week low of 0.7626 against the US dollar around 2:15 am ET from yesterday's multi-week highs of 0.7789. If the pair declines further, 0.7560 is seen as the next likely target level.
