MW: Gold reverses lower, trades near multimonth lows

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures wavered between small gains and losses Thursday as equities posted moderate gains but a weaker dollar supported prices. Gold for February delivery (GCG11 1,333, -0.30, -0.02%) was most recently off 20 cents to $1,334.30 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The metal had traded as high as $1,347.50 an ounce earlier.
