FRX: Around The Markets: Stocks, Gold Slightly Higher
Financial market activity is being scaled back in Asia ahead of the Chinese New Year celebrations which start on Thursday.
Most stockmarkets are about 0.25% higher and Gold is up $2 at $1336/oz. Oil is trading just below $92/bbl.
FX markets are fairly quiet although both the AUD/USD and NZD/USD continue to grind higher on talk of real money buying. Next risk event is the RBA in 45 minutes.
