RTTN: Australian Dollar Slips To 2-day Low Against Canadian Dollar
(RTTNews) - The Australian dollar fell to a 2-day low of 0.9957 against the Canadian dollar around 9:05 am ET Wednesday. The aussie-loonie pair is presently worth 0.9960 with 0.9920 seen as the next likely support level.
The Australian currency also extended its recent downtrend against the currencies of the U.S., Japan and New Zealand in early New York trading on Wednesday. The aussie reached as low as 1.0069 against the greenback, 82.03 against the yen and 1.2907 against the NZ dollar around 9:20 am ET.
If the aussie weakens further, it may find target levels at 1.0050 against the buck, 1.29 versus the kiwi and 81.80 against the yen in near-term.
