BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - The Commerce Department is set to release second estimate of US third quarter GDP data at 8:30 am ET Tuesday. Economists expect third quarter growth to be upwardly revised to 2.1%.
Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against the other major currencies. While the greenback rose against the pound, it declined against the franc. Against the yen and the euro, it held steady.
The greenback was worth 1.0662 against the euro, 122.46 against the yen, 1.5076 against the pound and 1.0162 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
