DES MOINES, Iowa — On Monday, the farm markets have started mostly weaker, as threatening crop-weather has evaporated and more favorable conditions prevail over the Corn Belt.
At the open, the Sep. corn futures are 1/4¢ lower at $3.44, Dec. futures are 1/4¢ lower at $3.41 per bushel.
August soybean futures are 2¢ lower at $10.04, while Nov. soybean futures are 4¢ lower at $9.83.
Sept. wheat futures are 4¢ higher at $4.29.
August soymeal futures are $0.20 short ton lower at $346.50. August soyoil futures are $0.40 lower at $29.81.
In the outside markets, the Brent crude oil market is $0.40 per barrel lower, the U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 39 points lower.
