Base metals regained their strength on Wednesday morning’s trading on the London Metal Exchange, with three-month copper pushing back through $6,100 per tonne. Copper prices pushed higher after two days of weakness as the US dollar fell to $1.460 against the euro compared with $1.454 in the official session on Tuesday.
