RTTN: US Dollar Steady Ahead Of ISM Manufacturing Survey, Pending Home Sales Reports
(RTTNews) - The result of the manufacturing survey of the Institute for Supply Management is due out at 10:00 am ET. Economists expect the index to show a reading of 54 for September.
The Commerce Department's construction spending report to be released at the same time and is expected to show a 0.2% decline in spending for August.
Data on Pending Home Sales is also due out at 10 am ET. The index is expected to rise 1% in August.
The US dollar stabilized against its major opponents ahead of the reports. As of now, the greenback is worth 1.5976 against the pound, 89.6 versus the Japanese yen, 1.0417 against the Swiss franc and 1.4566 per euro.
