MW: Crude oil futures turn higher, along with stocks

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Oil futures turned slightly higher on Friday, rebounding from earlier weakness along with stocks as investors continued to take an upbeat view of earnings and the economy. Oil fell earlier as the dollar rose slightly from near 14-month lows. Crude oil for November delivery rose 22 cents to $71.93 a barrel in electronic trading on Globex. The contract earlier hit an intraday low of $70.58 a barrel.
