MY: Gold prices fall more than 1 pct to below $1,050/oz
LONDON, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Gold prices fell more than 1 percent to below $1,050 an ounce in Europe on Thursday as traders cashed in gains amid fears the previous session's rally to record highs was overdone.
Spot gold fell to a session low of $1,048.45 an ounce and was bid at $1,048.50 an ounce at 1130 GMT, against $1,358 late in New York on Wednesday. Early in that session it touched a record high of $1,070.40. (Reporting by Jan Harvey; Editing by Sue Thomas)
