RTRS: Dollar dips vs yen, euro near $1.50 level after US data
NEW YORK, Oct 20 (Reuters) - The dollar extended losses against the yen while the euro hovered around a 14-month high just below $1.50 after data showed U.S. producer prices fell in September while housing starts rose slightly.
The dollar fell to 90.20 yen from around 90.40 yen and was down about 0.3 percent on the day. The euro was trading at $1.4984, just below a 14-month peak at $1.4994 hit earlier.
