NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks started lower on Thursday on thinking the market's climb may be overextended given the outlook for the global economy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU 10,327, -99.68, -0.96%) fell 64.69 points to 10,361.62. The S&P 500 Index (SPX 1,096, -14.12, -1.27%) declined 9.03 points to 1,100.77. The Nasdaq Composite Index (COMP 2,161, -31.82, -1.45%) shed 21.99 points to 2,171.15. |
