NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Crude inventories rose 1 million barrels in the week ended Nov. 20, the Energy Information Administration reported Wednesday. Gasoline inventories rose 1 million barrels and distillate stockpiles, which include heating oil and diesel, fell 500,000 barrels. After the data, crude futures remained little changed at $75.99 a barrel. Industry group American Petroleum Institute reported late Tuesday an increase of 3.4 million in crude inventories, and analysts polled by Platts had expected a buildup of 1.4 million barrels.
