MW: U.S. stock futures fall further after jobless data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures extended their losses early Thursday after the government said initial jobless claims last week rose by 7,000 to stand at 480,000, more than expected. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were down 67 points at 10,384. Those for the S&P 500 Index fell 9.4 points to 1,096.3. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 12.5 points to 1,787.5.
