ENM: Gold futures fall on weak global cues |

NEW DELHI: Gold futures fell by 1.19 percent on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Friday as the metal recorded a steep fall in the overseas markets.
Gold for far-month June contract fell by Rs 203 or 1.19 percent to Rs 16,891 per ten gram with an open interest of 65 lots.
Marketmen said the fall in gold prices in the overseas markets pulled it down at the futures market.
The metal for delivery in April month contract also declined by Rs 75 or 0.44 percent to Rs 16,890 per ten gram in a turnover of 3,008 lots.
Meanwhile, gold tumbled by USD 40.40 to USD 1097.10 an ounce in New York on Thursday night.
