LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Continuing the run which has seen a 2.8% gain over the last four sessions, the pan-European Dow Jones Stoxx 600 (ST:SXXP 253.86, +0.69, +0.27%) opened higher on Tuesday, rising 0.3% to 253.90. Early gainers included Forth Ports (UK:FPT 1,163, +60.00, +5.45%) , which rose 7.5%, and Q-Cells (DE:QCE 10.44, +0.29, +2.86%) , which gained 4.6%. The German DAX rose 0.1% to 6,009 and the French CAC 40 rose 0.2% to 3,955. After a four-day break, the U.K. FTSE 100 rose 0.4% to 5,423. |
