TOKYO, Jan. 22, 2010 (Xinhua News Agency) -- The U.S. dollar dipped to the upper 89 yen level Friday in Tokyo.
The dollar bought 90.42-44 yen at 5 p.m., down from 90.40-50 yen in New York and 91.51-53 yen in Tokyo Thursday.
The euro was quoted at 1.4149-4151 dollars and 127.94-98 yen, compared with 1.4079-4089 dollars and 127.35-45 yen in New York and 1.4088-4090 dollars and 128.92-96 yen in Tokyo.
