MW: Euro-zone producer prices up slightly in December

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Industrial producer prices in the 16-nation euro zone rose by 0.1% in December, for a 2.9% decline from the same month in 2008, the European Union statistics agency Eurostat reported Tuesday. Economists had forecast a flat reading for the month and a 3% annual decline.
