(RTTNews) - At 8:30 am ET, the U.S. trade balance report for the month of December is slated for release. Ahead of the release of the report, the dollar showed mixed trading against other major currencies. The dollar declined against the yen, pared recent gains versus the franc and gained versus the pound and the euro.
At 8:25 am ET, the dollar was worth 1.3753 against the euro, 1.0659 against the franc, 89.53 against the yen and 1.5622 against the pound.
