RTRS: Dollar rises vs yen after U.S retail sales data
NEW YORK, Feb 12 (Reuters) - The. dollar extended gains verus the yen on Friday after data showed U.S. retail sales were stronger than expected in January.
Markets were expecting a 0.3 percent increase in headline retail sales, but the report showed a 0.5 percent rise. For the data, click on [ID:nN11214682].
