NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Energy stocks fell in early action on Friday, ahead of weekly inventory data delayed by two days because of the blizzard in Washington. The NYSE Arca Oil Index (XOI 1,004, -17.13, -1.68%) fell 1.7% to 1,005. The NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index (XNG 515.79, -8.68, -1.65%) dropped 1.8% to 515. The Philadelphia Oil Service Index (OSX 193.09, -4.44, -2.25%) subtracted 2.3% to 193. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU 10,004, -140.27, -1.38%) fell 142 points. |
