The U.S. dollar declined against the currency of Switzerland during European trading on Monday. The dollar drifted lower to 1.0757 against the franc. The greenback-franc pair is now trading near Friday's close of 1.0767.
Against the pound, the dollar drifted lower to 1.5723 .As of now, the pound-greenback pair is worth 1.5703, compared to Friday's close of 1.5710.
The U.S. dollar recovered its recent losses against the 16-nation currency. The dollar climbed to 1.3619 rising from 1.3632 hit earlier. The euro-greenback pair is now trading near Friday's New York session close of 1.3623.
The U.S. dollar lost ground against its Japanese rival. the dollar hit a low of 89.94 versus the Japanese currency. At present, the greenback-yen pair is trading at 89.97, compared to Friday's close of 90.06.
