Euro area retail sales rise above expectations in October as seemingly the residents surprising confidence is reflected in the start of winter and holiday sales. Retail Sales rose 0.5% in October exceeding expectations for 0.2% rise and reversing the previous month's drop of 0.2%. Retail sales are now higher by 1.8% from a year earlier also beating expectations for 1.0% and the previous 1.1%.
