RTRS: Euro rises 1 pct vs US dollar after grim jobs data
Dec 3 (Reuters) - The euro extended gains versus the U.S. dollar to rise 1 percent on Friday as the greenback came under broad selling pressure following a much-weaker-than-expected U.S jobs report for November.
The euro rose as high as $1.3368 EUR=EBS on trading platform EBS and was last at $1.3342, up 0.9 percent on the day.
Gains in the euro accelerated after it broke above resistance at around $1.3329, the pair's 100-day simple moving average. (Reporting by Wanfeng Zhou; Editing by James Dalgleish)
