StockMarketWire.com - US commercial crude oil inventories decreased by 1.3 million barrels in the week to 24 December to 339.4 million barrels, the US Energy Information Administration said today (30 December).
But it said crude oil inventories are above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year.
Total motor gasoline inventories decreased by 2.3 million barrels last week and are in the upper half of the average range.
Both finished gasoline inventories and blending components inventories decreased last week.
Distillate fuel inventories increased by 0.2 million barrels and are just above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year.
Propane/propylene inventories decreased by 2.4 million barrels last week and are in the lower half of the average range.
Total commercial petroleum inventories decreased by 9.2 million barrels last week.
