WSJ: Key Dollar Libor Unchanged; Euro, Sterling Rates Rise
LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing euros and sterling for three months in the London interbank market rose Tuesday, while the dollar rate remained unchanged.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, also known as Libor, was unchanged at 0.30313%. The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, was slightly lower at 13.5 basis points from 13.6 basis points Monday.
The euro rate rose to 0.94438% from 0.94%, while the sterling rate rose to 0.77% from 0.76750%.
