SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures turned lower Wednesday as the dollar came off lows and equities traded lower. Crude for February delivery retreated 74 cents, or 0.8%, to $90.69 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Prices dipped shortly after the stock market opened, having traded as high as $92.11 a barrel earlier.
